Joannah’s practice areas include energy, disputes (litigation & arbitration), corporate services, construction, intellectual property, and tax.
While in law school, Joannah represented the University of the Philippines (UP) College of Law in the 27th Stetson International Moot Court Competition (2023), where her team emerged as Semifinalists and won Best Memorial in the Regional Rounds, and subsequently advanced as Semifinalists in the International Rounds. She also served as a Research Assistant for Parabukas Pte. Ltd., an Asia-based legal and policy consultancy specializing in climate change. Joannah was awarded the Merlin M. Magallona Best Paper Prize by the UP College of Law (sponsored by the Class of 1974) for her legal research and writing on emerging issues in international law. On the other hand, while in college, Joannah was an active varsity debater and represented her university, and the country, in various local and international tournaments. She reached the finals-series of several competitions such as the Philippine Intercollegiate Debate Championships, the Gandhi Memorial ASEAN Debate Competition, and the Ateneo Business Ethics Debates.

- University of the Philippines, Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Class of 2021), Magna Cum Laude
- Admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2026.

- Assisting in civil, criminal, labor and administrative cases before various Philippine courts and quasi-judicial bodies
