Chelsea Kate’s (CK) practice areas include corporate services, energy, labor, mergers & acquisitions, and tax and customs.

CK’s work experience pre-dates her joining the firm in 2026.  From 2019 to 2021, she worked as a tax associate in a professional services firm handling tax compliance, advisory and audit support. From 2024 to 2026, she worked as a Senior Accountant in a business process outsourcing and consulting company focusing on global and local tax, payroll, and regulatory compliance. Since 2022, she has also been teaching accounting, taxation, and law subjects in universities and a CPA review school.

While in law school, CK was included in the Dean’s Academic Honor List.  On the other hand, while in college, CK was a city and foundation scholar and actively joined and placed in several academic and national case competitions.

• University of Santo Tomas, Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (Class of 2019)
• Certified public accountant since 2019
• Admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2026

Experience

CK has participated in several matters.  Her experience has included:

• Assisting in civil, criminal, labor and administrative cases before various Philippine courts and quasi-judicial bodies
• Assisting with contract drafting for various corporate and commercial transactions
• Conducting due diligence involving corporate acquisitions
• Assisting with energy and infrastructure projects
• Assisting on tax advisory matters
• Assisting on labor advisory matters
• Assisting with the completion of various regulatory requirements
