Gideon’s practice areas include disputes (litigation & arbitration), intellectual property, and labor.

While in law school, Gideon actively represented the Ateneo and the Philippines in international moot court competitions through the Ateneo Society of International Law. He competed as an oralist in the international rounds of the 2023 Asia Cup Moot Court Competition in Tokyo, Japan, the 2024 International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition in The Hague, Netherlands, and in the 2025 Willem C. Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong. He was the Team Captain of the Ateneo-Philippine team in the 2024 International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition where his team emerged as a Semi-Finalist in the Global Rounds. Aside from his moot court experiences, Gideon was awarded the Dean’s Award for Third Best Juris Doctor Thesis in the 79^th Commencement Exercises of the Ateneo Law School. While in college, Gideon was active in the Ateneo de Manila University – Loyola Schools’ Sanggunian as the AB Political Science Course Representative and the Head of the Ateneo Seniors’ Alliance.

Qualifications

• Ateneo de Manila University School of Law, Juris Doctor (Class of 2025, Dean’s Award for Third Best Juris Doctor Thesis)
• Ateneo de Manila University, Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Class of 2021).
• Admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2026.

Experience

Gideon has participated in several matters.  His experience has included:

• Assisting in criminal cases before various Philippine courts and quasi-judicial bodies
• Assisting on labor advisory matters
• Assisting in drafting legal opinions on labor and litigation matters
• Assisting in trademark registration and copyright matters
