Jodie’s practice areas include competition and antitrust, construction, corporate services, energy, infrastructure, tax and customs, and TMT.

Jodie’s work experience pre-dates her joining the firm in 2023.  From 2019 to 2023, her work included providing consulting services to Manila Water Company, Inc., several local and international consulting firms, the Asian Development Bank, and the Philippine government. From 2011 to 2019, she worked for a water concessionaire, an investment holding company, and an international engineering and design firm.

While in law school, Jodie was the Chairperson of the 2020/2021 & 2022 Centralized Bar Operations, and the 2022 Subject Chairperson for Remedial Law. In 2021, she was selected as one of the legal interns to join the Office of the Solicitor General’s Legal Internship Program. She was also a Student Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. On the other hand, while in college, Jodie served as the President of U.P. Sigma Nu Epsilon Sorority.

• University of Makati, Juris Doctor (Class of 2023, ranked 7^th in graduating class, recipient of Leadership Award for Centralized Bar Operations)
• University of the Philippines – Los Baños, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Class of 2009)
• Registered Civil Engineer since 2010
• Admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2023

Experience

Jodie has participated in several matters.  Her experience has included:

• Rendering legal opinions on corporate, consumer protection, technology, competition, and credit transaction matters.
• Assisting with energy and infrastructure projects
• Assisting on tax advisory matters
• Assisting on labor advisory matters
• Assisting with the completion of various regulatory requirements
• Assisting in the general corporate housekeeping of various companies
• Assisting with contract drafting for various corporate and commercial transactions
